“Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the LORD, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

Isaiah 1:18

About Vanita’s Theological Approach:

Vanita is a “1st Century Messianic” (The Way) scholar and theologian. Through her writings [TheologySense and The Ambassador Journal (TAJ)], she embraces scholarship that doesn’t fashion something new. Rather, her writings attempt to reveal Scriptural truths in the old–void of doctrines that have resulted from traditions of men. She attempts to write from a 1st Century perspective; rather than a modern “Messianic” perspective. She is a freelance writer who has written for various Christian magazines, churches, and ministries for over a two decades. Vanita is a retired law enforcement officer, with over 20 years of civilian and military investigative and criminal justice experience. She is also retired Air Force with over 24 years of Active Duty and Reserve service. Vanita holds a Th.B., Th.M. and a Ph.D. in Theology.

Theology Sense is a one of a kind resource that seeks to approach and teach Scripture from a 1st Century Messianic worldview. Via ABP’s Theology Sense and The Ambassador Journal, Vanita began developing mini-lessons, charts, and articles designed to teach believers in Yeshua (Jesus Christ) how to understand their faith from a “1st Century” – Messianic Two-House Israel Perspective.

This differs from modern Messianic Theology in that it is not attached to the doctrines and traditions of Rabbinic Judaism. Rabbinic Judaism, as we know it today, did not exist in the 1st Century. While Rabbinic Judaism finds its roots in Pharisaic Judaism, it is very different than what was taught by Yeshua, the Apostles, and Paul in the 1st Century. Rather, it was the many problems with Pharisaic Judaism that was addressed by Yeshua. Thus, both Pharisaic Judaism and Rabbinic Judaism are off the straight and narrow path which initially started with Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob.

Despite the plethora of doctrinal and traditional “leaven” that has piled up over the millennia–the “path” is still the same. Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness. Yeshua has fulfilled many things, but there is still more fulfillment of Scripture to come. There was nothing wrong with the Law of Moses; it was the additions imposed by the Pharisees that were questioned, exposed and rejected by Yeshua. God’s Law was not abolished or rejected by the Apostles or Paul. They were/are upheld, as they are now written upon the hearts of those who believe in Yeshua.

So Where? Where can you find Vanita’s writings?

They’re not online anymore! Recently, the Lord put on my heart to remove my Biblical thoughts from the Internet. The Body of Christ/Yeshua will have to go underground in the not-too-distant future, and we’ll have enough to talk about if/when that happens. There is so much out there. Everybody has an opinion or a comment. There is too much noise and very little truth. If anyone has a serious question about any Biblical topic, including as it relates to current events; they are encouraged to write/email me.

I am not a prophet, but I am a teacher–thus held to a higher account and stricter judgment. And as with prophecy, the Word of God is not “of any private interpretation” either. It says what it says, and the Holy Spirit is our guide. If we disagree; either I’m wrong, you’re wrong, or we are both wrong! Scripture is never wrong.

James 3:1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.

2 Peter 1:19-21 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
